Connie turned 70 and her loving husband commissioned her portrait. A beautiful Minnesotan, she is shown during the winter season with her favorite walnut tree standing in the field east of her home at sunrise. The birds, chickadees, cardinal and snowy owl, indicate Connie’s connection with the natural world. Colorfully caped, Connie also puts herself forward in our human community, bringing disparate parties together, encouraging peace and understanding. She is a treasure.
