Maxx and Naomi’s 9 month portraits

Maxx says the picture of him with his mom and portrait is one of his favorites. He’s 5 now and graces many a day exclaiming that “This is the best day of my life.” Nomi, 2.5, is ready to help fix anything; toys, food, people. Today I complained of a sore muscle and she asked if she could get me a band-aid. Maxx and the Sunflower is a simpler painting than Naomi and the Moonflowers, snail, moth, owl, lightning bugs, river landscape, universal sky. But the message is similiar, we are all connected to and part of the world around us.
